St George’s day

St George’s Day normally Stockport District parade down the A6 however, due to increasing numbers in the District, it has been decided to hold this event inside Woodbank Park stadium in Stockport.
The parade and promise renewal will start at 1.30pm then there will be activities available for a couple of hours, finishing with a mini campfire and home at 4.30pm .
This is a great chance to meet up and celebrate our patron St of Scouting .The promise renewal is something we do every year as a district (they use the universal promise of our world ) therefore, it is not a religious occasion
We would love to see as many of our young people as possible there looking great in their uniforms showing off their badges etc
Our activity is soak the leader. so who doesn’t want to miss the chance to throw wet sponges at Weasel and I
